At the invitation of Prof. Oral ErdoğanПо покана от професор Орал Ердоган, Rector of Piri Reis Maritime University, Istanbul, Turkey, for the second consecutive year a Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy cadet will undergo hands-on instruction onboard the training vessel of the University.

The fourth-year cadet Denis Ahmedov, a Ship Machinery for the Navy major, is to take part in the training voyage from 30 June to 30 August 2017.

In January 2017 the two higher education institutions signed a Framework Agreement for cooperation in the area of science: for the training of students and the exchange of teaching staff, as well as for the organisation of practical training on the Piri Reis Maritime University’s vessel.
