The Ambassadors of the USA – H.E. Herro Mustafa, of Georgia – H.E. Tamara Liluashvili, and of Romania – H.E. Ion Galea, visited Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy on 20 July 2020. Among the distinguished visitors were also the Deputy Prime Minister for public order and security and Defence Minister – Mr Krasimir Karakachanov, the Chief of Defence – Admiral Emil Eftimov, and the Commander of the Navy – Rear Admiral Kiril Mihaylov.

After the guard of honour, which opened the meeting ceremony, the three ambassadors signed the Visitors’ Book of the Naval Academy. The Rector of the Naval Academy – Flotilla Admiral Boyan Mednikarov then delivered a presentation about our maritime Alma Mater and outlined the prospects for the development of the Academy.

After the presentation, the official guests toured the training facilities. They saw the Integrated Coastal Zone Management and Monitoring Centre.
