The Exploitation Fleet and Ports Department is a leading department at Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy. Its mission is to give to its trainees the necessary knowledge, practical skills and leadership qualities satisfying the need for highly qualified professionals in the sphere of maritime business. The department has specialized study rooms in seamanship, ship operation and cargo handling, ship handling, personal care on board, ports and port facilities, management of the water transports. The department also has simulators allowing near-to-real-conditionstraining.
