The third-year cadets Nikolay Genov, Todor Nedevski, Sevgin Yumer, Todor Popov, and Georgi Dimitrov have returned from overseas practical training at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Their training included a theoretical course for familiarisation with the specificity of shipboard service, as well as a period at sea. During their seagoing time the trainees actively participated in the control of the training vessel, acquainting themselves with different functional obligations related to the various posts on board.

Four training vessels designated as Yard Patrol Craft took part in the training, practising different evolutions.
