Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy and G. S. Rakovski Defence and Staff College are launching a joint project for training cadets in the major of Organization and management of military units on the tactical level with a specialisation in Naval Logistics.
The admission campaign for the academic year of 2020/2021 is already underway. The applicants are to take the following examinations: general education, English language, and physical fitness. Candidates will also have their psycho-physiological qualities checked in addition to the physical exams.
The training focuses on the intellectual, physical, professional and moral development of the cadet and the establishment of a leader’s and a commander’s qualities required for their fulfillment as naval officers. Furthermore, the course aims at the formation of a wide array of knowledge, skills, and moral and spiritual qualities to serve as the foundation for their professional growth, also enabling their realisation as citizens and leaders in the civilian sector in the Republic of Bulgaria.
The graduates specialising in Naval Logistics will have acquired expert knowledge in military logistics, the methods of application of logistic principles in military campaigns (both domestic and multinational), the planning of the organisations from the military logistic structures and their activities, coordination, command and control.
